If you are in the design industry realistic renderings seem more important now than ever before. In order to show clients your design intent in detail it feels like there is a fresh opportunity when it comes to rendering possibilities. Even just 10 years ago realistic renderings either took a long time to produce, or they were very expensive. These days renderings are still a bit pricey, but because they look so realistic and can show such accurate detail it feels worthwhile to use as part of client presentations. I’ve put together the top 5 interior and architectural rendering companies I’ve come across. I have not worked with all of these companies, but have been very impressed with the quality of their work or they have come as recommendations from other designers.

  1. Royal Jay Design. A few weeks ago I got an email from Johnny at Canadian based company, Royal Jay Design sharing about their rendering services. I clicked on their website link and was immediately impressed with their work. It was highly detailed and realistic and with a quick email response I decided it was the time to act on opportunity to work with him. I had the perfect project in mind and felt like the design was dialed in enough for me to be able to provide floor plan, interior elevations, and specs that would give a clear design intent for him to work from. Their pricing was reasonable (when compared to some other companies) and because pricing is in CAD I actually saved a bit of money with the conversion to USD. I received a draft rendering back from them and was totally blown away.
  2. Sia.Oro.Cgi. I was introduced to this company through AEF Interiors. They shared a project rendering on instagram and I was so impressed with how realistic and detailed the image was. I did message, Anastasiia and got their pricing information, but haven’t yet had a chance to work with them. I will certainly reach out to them for a future project.
  3. Notion Workshop. Notion Workshop has been around for a while. They were probably one of the first realistic rendering companies I came across years ago. Their work is incredible, but when I reached out to them last year they had a very full workload and were not accepting new projects. They did offer some suggestions on other companies I could reach out to that focused more closely on interior visualizations, including Stab studio, which is listed below.
  4. Stab Studio – Stab is a Melbourne-based creative studio specializing in architectural visualizations. Their work is stunning and highly detailed. I don’t know about their pricing or fees, but really inspired by their work.
  5. Visually Biased. This visualization company feels unique and stands out amongst the others on this list because their work is very atmospheric and emotive. Their renderings have an artistic quality, which uses a play of light and composition to create a more moody feeling. For the right project I would love to work with this company.

I’m sure as AI technology continues to improve and develop there will be more opportunities for beautiful interior and architectural rendering support. I will likely add more to this list as I come across additional companies, but for now this is the top 5 list. Enjoy!
