Spring is just around the corner and that means sunshine, warm weather, and outdoor parties. If you live in Seattle you know how much everyone looks forward to Spring and getting through the dark, rainy days of winter. If I’m being totally honest the warm weather and sunshine doesn’t always start until June/July, but at the very least Spring gives us the hope and anticipation of warm weather. When starting off the New Year I made it a goal to have our backyard design (we’re rebuilding our deck and patio) done by February so we could start construction in March. Rob and I have spent quite a bit of time working on our design plans over the last couple months and we even demo’d our old deck a couple weeks ago (thanks to the help of Michelle and Matt). Since then we’ve been spending time clearing out wood from demo, raking leaves and clearing the yard to get it prepped for our start date in March. Once we have our full design finalized I’ll definitely share in another post, but for now I wanted to share some inspiration for outdoor furniture ideas that I’ve been saving. Unfortunately we don’t have the budget to buy all new outdoor furniture, but it doesn’t stop me from dreaming up my ideal space.
